Worker Positions Available:
Receiving – Checking Items: You will check each item brought in by the consignor to make sure that it is clean and in good condition, is not out-of-date, and is properly hung and tagged. This is not a position for the meek; you must be willing to turn away items that are not acceptable, which occasionally makes the consignor unhappy! Attention to detail and an assertive personality are a must!
Receiving – Stocking Gym: You will distribute items that have been checked in to the proper sale area. This position involves physical labor and attention to detail. Items must be hung by the correct size and gender, furniture must be carried to the furniture area, etc.
Checkout Helper: Assists with Checkout so that all items are scanned and accounted for.
Floater / Helper: You will assist as directed by the Growing Kids Team. Tasks to be performed may include 1) hanging out in Baby World to answer questions and serve as a deterrent to theft, 2) unpinning if help is needed in that area, or 3) sitting at the front door counting people who enter the sale. Basically, you are just available to help where needed.
Setup / Breakdown: WE NEED MEN! Let your spouse help you earn your volunteer hours. Help is needed moving racks & tables as well as setting up and breaking down. |
